HEAT kicked off live one hour before WrestleMania with Mr. McMahon and Paul Wight walking to the ring. Mr. McMahon announced that there would be a no disqualification clause in the main event at WrestleMania. The Big Show said he had been hired to keep the Federation Championship in the Corporation, and he intended on doing just that. Mr. McMahon instructed Wight to wait by the First Union Center entrance for Stone Cold Steve Austin to arrive. Terri Runnels joined Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly for guest commentary during the first match�Jacqueline vs. Ivory. After Jacqueline finished off D�Lo Brown�s prot�g� with a belly-to-back suplex, Terri came in the ring and drove a cigar into Ivory�s face! Tori ran into the ring and ran PMS off. Next up, D-Generation X came out and X-Pac, Triple H, Road Dogg and Badd Ass Billy Gunn all said they would win their matches at WrestleMania, and if you weren�t down with that�s*ck it! In the battle royal to determine who would face Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett for the Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania, the unusual duo of D�Lo Brown and Test were the final two competitors, earning themselves a title shot. Both superstars were attacked after the match by Jarrett and Hart. The Big Boss Man made his way to the ring and promised to make the Undertaker serve hard time at WrestleMania. However, the lights went out and the Undertaker�s voice could be heard through the arena. The Phenom said he holds the key to the Boss Man�s soul. In the ring, Boss Man was attacked by the Brood and given a blood bath. As Paul Wight sat at the First Union Center exit, Mankind walked in. Mankind said something that upset The Big Show, who attacked the Deranged One. As Mankind and Wight battled, Austin arrived at the arena and walked the opposite way as HEAT came to an end.
